Uncover the Hidden World Behind Your Reality: The Shocking Truth Revealed!

“They influence our decisions without us knowing it. They numb our senses without us feeling it. They control our lives without us realizing it. You consume so They live.”

Ray Nelson thinks his greatest claim to fame is his invention of the iconic propeller beanie, loved by sci-fi fans the world over. With all due respect to the great man, he’s completely wrong.

Actually Ray, your greatest claim to fame is your 1963 short story "Eight O’clock in the Morning" which served as the inspiration behind John Carpenter’s cult classic film ‘They Live’.

If you haven’t seen the film, then you’re in for treat… It stars the WWF wrestling legend “Rowdy” Roddy Pipper as your everyday man struggling to make a living while still maintaining his belief in the system and the American dream until he comes into possession of a pair of sunglasses that lets him see his world as it truly is for the first time.

He’s not so much able to read between the lines as to see through the lies.

He realises the billboard featuring a beautiful bikini clad model on a sun-soaked beach with the words ‘come to the… Caribbean’ is really a message to ‘Marry and Reproduce’

Another billboard proclaiming "The creation of a ‘Transparent computing environment’ is simply a command to ‘Obey’ and words, pictures and symbols on the Dollar bill translate to ‘This is your God’

And all for one purpose…that the population consumes so their hidden rulers continue to live in the style they have become accustomed to and maintain their power.

I won’t give away anymore of the movie, but it has some interesting things to say about our perceptions and reality, the role the media plays in shaping our collective narrative, how power is exercised in our society and consent manufactured.

And once you know this, you’ll be ready to fight and take back control of your own reality.

As “Rowdy” Roddy Pipper says in the movie when the you know what is about to hit the fan “I have come here to chew bubble-gum and kick arse...and I’m all out of bubble-gum”

Bet you don’t even like bubble-gum, it’s time for the rest…
