"In the spring of 2020 while visiting Spain I was unable to return back home to the UK for 3 months due to the pandemic lockdown and my flights being cancelled.

The lockdown rules in Spain at that time meant we were not able to leave the house except for the absolute essentials like food shopping and so I had plenty of time to think.

And what did I think about? The truth is many things but as you on the Pixel Gallery page this thought is the most relevant.

I thought about my love of Art's rich history, my fascination with technology and a desire to combine and share them.

And so, unbeknownst to me at the time Pixel Gallery was born.

The name 'Pixel' was chosen because today we live in a digital world with pixels as our constant companions. Our phones and laptops screens are made up of pixels. When we text loved ones, watch our favourite show or send that important email we are connected by pixels. 

But more than this Pixels say something else. Pixels are millions of individual dots that come to create an image, to tell a story, in a way they are a metaphor for us all, we are all together on this 'screen' called Earth choosing what images we project and what stories we tell.
